Tehani Robinson

Tehani is LSHO's Lead 'Ori Tahiti instructor and world-renowned 'Ori Tahiti dancer, choreographer, and artist. With 'Ori Tahiti in her blood, she began dancing at the same time she learned to walk and has since gone on to win 1st place Overall Vahine at Heiva i Paris 2019, choreograph LSHO's winning Mehura at the same event, lead LSHO's competition team to win the 3rd place Mehura at 'Ori Tahiti Nui in Tahiti, compete as in international soloist in the 'Ori Tahiti Nui World Championships, and teach workshops around the world.

  • Exploring 'Aparima

    This course is designed to practice your grace and fluidity while improving your technique, all through the joy of ‘aparima! Learn choreo to several different ‘aparima and dive into both traditional and contemporary storytelling movement.

  • PEHE 1+2

    Developing a keen and confident ear for the music is one of the most important roles in your ‘Ori Tahiti journey. Learn to confidently recognise and understand the traditional Pehe (beats) and discover new ways to apply your movements and storytelling to the beats.

    - Via videos so you can take the class in your own time

  • PEHE 1 or 2

    PEHE pt.1 will walk you through the different traditional Pehe and help you understand how to break them down in order to apply movement to them. Pt.2 will show you new and exciting ways to build an effective story and exciting movement to help your solo stand out.

Course Format
Each course is initially presented live, with all recordings available to all participants the day after the live session. Any past course is presented through the session recordings You will have access to each course for the length of the course + 2 weeks (ex: 7 weeks for a 5-week course).
