We're all looking forward to the upcoming release of the new live-action Lilo & Stitch, a film that many of us grew up loving, so we are bringing this workshop to celebrate together! Learn a whole choreography set to the title song before then learning to make fresh flower lei that you will get to take home with you. Its going to be a fun one!

Day Outline:
11am-1.30 Lilo & Stitch Hula Workshop incl a brief introduction to the basic Hula steps before moving into the choreogrpahy
1.30-2pm Lunch (not provided, there is a fridge and microwave at the studio)
2pm- 3.30pm Lei Making Workshop (all materials provided)
We will then dance the song with our new Lei Po'o!

What to expect:

• We will quickly teach you the basic Hula steps before moving into a choreogrpahy for He Mele No Lilo. By the end, you will know the whole dance! After lunch we will move into lei-making, weaving together a crown of fresh flowers using traditional techniques.

• Learn the cultural techniques for crown making that can be used for future events. Be summer ready!

• A warm supportive environment.

Who Should Enrol: If you love Lilo & Stitch or always wanted to try Hula, this is a great place to jump in! This is suitable for complete beginners to experienced dancers all genders, all backgrounds. Due to the length of the workshop, we advise participants be 12+
