How to get started…

Hula and ‘Ori Tahiti are great dance styles for all fitness levels, ages, and abilities. Have fun, build confidence and feel empowered through movement, while engaging your mind, body, and soul and deepening your connection to the self, other dancers, and the world around you.

Foundation Courses

In Hula and ‘Ori it all starts with strong foundations. Our Foundation Courses are perfect for complete beginners, or anyone looking to get in-depth breakdowns of the fundamentals steps and techniques, as well as an intro to the history, music, language and storytelling surrounding the movement.

Drop In Classes

We have two Drop In classes that are great for beginners– our Monday General level class and our Saturday Fundamentals class. Both classes offer technique breakdowns and cultural understanding and focus on different elements of development.

Testimonials

“The course is taught in a heart centred way and keen to emphasise the cultural, community + spiritual importance of the dances. This is paired with a good variety of info & activities, as well as helpful and well written course materials and resources.”

“The entire experience is fantastic. The classes are very impressive and extremely therapeutic– a welcome way to help me recover from my stressful London lifestyle. Thank you for bringing these great memories to me!”

"I think the price was really good for this class. It was enough to make me not want to miss a session but not too much that I was put off. Thank you to everyone involved for making it happen,
best course I've ever done!"

“I wanted to re/connect to myself, my femininity, feel I had a better understanding of how I define that term. Hadn't expected to actually make friends - which I now realise is also what I was seeking and actually a key component of what 'femininity' means to me: connecting with other women grounds me more in my own womanhood. I left feeling more empowered, which I hadn't expected.”

“I came in wanting to learn more about a culture that I have admired from afar which was definitely achieved. More than this though I wanted to overcome my own insecurities of socialising/working with new people and found the sessions to be confidence boosting and actually really fun. I love that the first session laid out that there was no judgment which really rang true throughout the course.”
