WEEKLY PRACTICES

'I had no idea what to expect, but I'll definitely be back next week.'
Our weekly practice focuses on the elegant styles of the Hawaiian Hula 'auana, and the upbeat hip movements of 'Ori Tahiti. They are designed to cater to all experience levels and challenge you as individuals and as a group.

HAWAIIAN HULA

Isolation and discipline. We focus on styles of Hula ‘auana including Hapa Haole Hula

‘ORI TAHITI

Aerobic and exciting. We focus on the styles of Ote’a and Aparima

Many people often confuse the two, or think that all styles fall under Hula. However, the Hula come from the Islands of Hawai’i and the ‘Ori Tahiti comes from Tahiti. There are different styles within the Hula and the ‘Ori Tahiti and we dance many of them. With our classes you will also gain an understanding of culture and history and build discover your own femininity.

MONDAY

7-8.30pm ‘Ori Tahiti & Hula

Drills, combos and choreo. Open your body and mind.
All levels welcome. Fast paced and adapting to the needs of the dancers.

6.30-8pm ‘Ori Tahiti Conditioning/Technique: Intermediate+

- Competition training for ote’a solos
